Despite my declaration to the contrary, the hiatus appears to have been only temporary. The reason’s actually quite simple: I’m installing Solaris on a box of mine and want somewhere to record what’s going on for future reference. Why Solaris? Well, that’s a topic for another post.

The arguably minimalist design is (at least in part) deliberate. I started coding this last night as a distraction from work, so it’s far from refined. Thus, for example, if you’re not using either a WebKit/KHTML- or Gecko-based browser, then I’ve no idea how this page renders (in other words, sorry if this looks strange in Internet Explorer). I’ll be adding features (tags, comments and an XML feed are high on my list) as well as a slightly more elaborate page structure in due course.
